Monopolia covers thirteen industries, including airlines, banking, telecom, pharmaceuticals, grocery, beer, defense and railroads, with switchable metrics and a concentration overlay (CR4 and CR8) that shows how much of each market the largest firms hold.
The front end is React, TypeScript and D3. A Python pipeline builds the airline data from the Bureau of Transportation Statistics T-100 filings; the other industries use curated datasets that cite their public sources.
